Who Can Volunteer?
At Sonshine Bible Fellowship, everyone is welcome to serve. You don’t need to be a long‑time member or have special experience — just a willing heart and a desire to help build a loving, Christ‑centered community.
You can volunteer if you:
Are you attending or exploring our church
Want to use your gifts to bless others
Can commit to a simple, manageable schedule
Value teamwork, kindness, and a welcoming spirit
For roles involving children, we conduct background checks to ensure a safe environment for our families.
Whether you’re outgoing or quiet, creative or practical, brand‑new or deeply rooted in faith, there is a place for you to serve and shine.
Volunteer Teams
Setup Team
Prepare chairs, signs, the kids’ area, and the worship space before the service. Time: Sundays, 45 minutes before service.
Hospitality Team
Welcome guests, offer coffee, answer questions, and help people feel at home. Time: Sundays during service.
Worship Team
Vocals, instruments, sound, slides, and tech support. Time: Weekly rehearsal + Sunday service.
Kids Ministry
Assist with lessons, crafts, check‑in, and creating a safe, joyful space for children. Time: Sundays during service.
Cleanup Team
Reset the space, pack equipment, and leave the building better than we found it. Time: 20–30 minutes after service.
Prayer Team
Support the church through prayer, encouragement, and compassionate care.
Outreach Team
Share God’s love beyond our walls through events, invitations, and community connections.
